Support for Nature Initiative
Organic farming is a system that preserves the balance of nature, ensures continuity in soil fertility, controls diseases and pests to sustain living things in nature, and achieves optimum efficiency through the optimum use of natural resources and energy. Within this scope, to grow Yeşilhisar's distinctive fruits — the Yeşilhisar Apple and Cherry — from their original saplings, and to do our part in our region as the RMM Madencilik family, a natural orchard of 1,200 saplings was created right next to our Calcination Facility. The fruits grown here are distributed to the public free of charge.
Landscaping and Afforestation
Can you imagine a life without trees? The benefits of trees go far beyond their beauty. Tree roots extend metres into the soil and hold it together. Trees planted near settlements hold the soil and reduce the damage that earthquakes may cause. Research has shown that patients who can see trees from their window recover faster and with fewer complications than those who cannot. Being in contact with trees reduces mental fatigue and increases concentration, easing the stress of city life and improving inner peace. Within this scope, as the RMM Madencilik family, a forest of 2,000 Blue Pine saplings was created on the slopes of Kayseri Erkilet.
