Zinc Ingots

Zinc Ingots

As RMM Madencilik, within the scope of the zinc ingot import business we started in 2017, we import zinc ingots of up to 99.99% purity.

Zinc, one of the most widely used metal raw materials in the modern world, is used in many fields from paint production to the automotive industry. As the fourth most needed metal of modern industry after iron, aluminium and copper by usage volume, zinc is an irreplaceable material especially for the brass and hot-dip galvanising sectors.

By processing the zinc ash obtained from products used in the galvanising sector, metallic zinc is recycled at a minimum purity of 99.98%, thereby producing high-purity zinc ingots for industrial use. Zinc ingots, which can be produced with different alloys such as aluminium, tin, nickel, lead or bismuth depending on customer requirements, are among the most important and valuable raw materials of today's world.

Zinc, used to protect metals from corrosion, is used in the galvanising of steel and other metals — showing that metallic zinc is one of the indispensable raw materials of modern industry. Zinc, needed for the production of alloys such as nickel-silver, German silver and solder, is also used in casting moulds in the automotive sector. It is of great importance as an activator in tyre production and is continuously used by the paint industry.
